A sample-ready master is a commercially released recording whose master and publishing rights can be cleared together for sampling or interpolation. Every track in the Vohnic Sample Library is a real, released recording — not a royalty-free loop or sample pack.
How does sample clearance work?+
You identify the master you want to sample, send us your intended usage (artist, song, release plan, territory, and term), and we issue licensing terms covering both the master and the underlying composition. Once the agreement is signed, you can legally release your song.
Can I legally sample these songs?+
Yes. Every recording in this catalog is available for legal sampling and interpolation licensing. Because Vohnic represents both the masters and the publishing on most of the catalog, you get a clean, one-stop clearance instead of chasing rights across multiple parties.
What is one-stop clearance?+
One-stop clearance means a single rights holder controls both the master recording and the underlying composition, so you only need one agreement to legally release a song that samples or interpolates the work. Vohnic offers one-stop clearance on the majority of this catalog.
How long does sample clearance take?+
After screening approval, we typically deliver high-resolution audio and initial term guidelines within a few business days so you can start working. Final clearance is executed when you are ready to release, and standard turnaround at that stage is also a few business days. Complex deals (major label releases, advertising, or film sync) may take longer because of additional negotiation.
Can independent artists clear samples?+
Yes. Vohnic works with independent artists, producers, labels, and sync supervisors. Access to the catalog is granted through a brief screening process so we can confirm a track record of commercial release before sharing high-resolution masters.
Do you offer stems?+
Stems are available upon request. Once you have been approved for catalog access, let us know which masters you need stems for and we will provide them alongside the high-resolution full master and instrumental.

What if my song gets signed after release?+
Clearance terms can be structured to scale with your release. If a song is later signed to a major label or licensed for a larger campaign, the agreement can be amended or expanded rather than requiring you to re-clear from scratch.
